What Is the Difference Between a Turtle and a Tortoise

When you see the turtle, can you make sure it is turtle or not? There is one possible that is not turtle and it is tortoise, you will surprise when i say this, yes, there are some point is different between turtle and tortoise. But you can't because they had a shell in a dome shape so you say they two are similar. The first difference, that is turtle likes living in or near water, while tortoise likes living in some place arid. So turtle always live in ocean , or brackish ponds and marshland.the front feet of turtle might be  fins or webbed toes in order to swim easier. The second difference between turtle and tortoise.
  • Turtles have flat backs. While tortoises' back are not flat than turtles. Turtles usually lay their egg on shore or underwater. If they want to sun themselves they often sun on logs or rocks or sandy banks.  Turtles are eating anything that you give them, they are omnivorous, whatever you feed them they will eat it up.
  • While tortoise's feet are not flat they are hard, scaly and nubby, their feet can help them across sharp rocks and sand.
The third difference between turtle and tortoise as following:
  • Turtles are eating anything that you give them, they are omnivorous, whatever you feed them they will eat plant or meat or whatever you feed them.
  • While tortoises mainly eat plant like cactus, shrubs, and other plants. they all have a lot of moisture.
